Dispatches from the landscape

Field Notes

Patrol dispatches, camera-trap records, nest monitoring and rescue reports — published from the field rather than written for a newsletter.

This section is ready for SEWA's own material

Field Notes is built to carry camera-trap frames, Sarus nest photographs and ground patrol dispatches from SEWA's own archive. It deliberately does not ship with stock photography standing in for field evidence — the credibility of this page comes entirely from the pictures being real.

Drop images into public/assets/images/field/ and add entries to the dispatches table; the layout below renders them as-is.

Trap stations along the northern dispersal route are checked on a fixed rotation through the survey season. Each frame is logged with station, date and species.

Blackbuck census

Grassland transect

Grassland species counts run alongside the tiger work, because the same grazing and fire pressures decide both.
